Disaffected Young People Programmes
We work to engage young people in a variety of activities.
These can take place at our studios in Shipley or on an outreach basis.
YOUTH ARTS
The JUSTART project works with young people aged 13 - 18 who are either offenders or are at risk of offending or being excluded from school.
The range of creative activities on offer includes graphic design, pottery and woodwork.
Through volunteer involvement we are able to enhance the project through inter-generational working.
It has been found that those who have attended Justart are less likely to re-offend, truant or be re referred to the Youth Offending Team.
