Course Fees
For most of our 10 week courses our fees follow the structure below. Where the fee structure is different this will be explained on the relevant page.

Full Fee, for people not eligible for a deduction as below.

Means Tested Benefit Claimants, for those in receipt of means tested benefit, (e.g. Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit, Housing Benefit/Council Tax Benefit, Social Fund) or dependent on someone who is in receipt of a means tested benefit

For students on one of our WEA courses (our regular ten week classes) the WEA are sometimes able to offer financial support to students with annual household incomes of less that £16000 who not eligible for fee reductions. Details of this support is available from course tutors.

Material costs
Basic tools and equipment are provided but materials are not included. If you are concerned with regards to the costs of materials please make an enquire to us about a specific course.

As a guide:
Drawing and Painting: £1.20 session.
Pottery £2.60 per Kilogram (this covers all clay, glazes, and firing.
Creative Stained Glass: materials can cost from £26 per term
. There may be additional costs for equipment.
Life Drawing: Students on low incomes can apply to the WEA for a bursary towards the life model element of the fee.
