Classes

Kirkgate Studios and Workshops host a variety of workshops in different art and craft areas.
We have a number of regular courses, some of which we run in partnership with the WEA.
Most of these run in terms of ten week blocks.
We also run Family Learning courses.
We run special weekend and summer courses too.

Material costs
Basic tools and equipment are provided but materials are not included. If you are concerned with regards to the costs of materials please make an enquire to us about a specific course.

As a guide:
Drawing and Painting: £1.20 session.
Pottery £2.60 per Kilogram (this covers all clay, glazes, and firing.
Creative Stained Glass: materials can cost from £26 per term. There may be additional costs for equipment.
Life Drawing: Students on low incomes can apply to the WEA for a bursary towards the life model element of the fee.
