Enrolment begins at 10am on Tuesday 24th August.

Saltaire Arts Trail
We are pleased to be able to offer two special workshops
for the Saltaire Arts Trail.
Experimental
Printmaking & Drawing
Join the printmaking and Drawing Workshop to transform
an ordinary still life into something really different.
We will be using quick and easy drawing teqhniques and exploring different
ways to make colourful and exciting prints.
No drawing or printmaking experience necessary.

Tutor Jane McDonald
Pinhole Camera Workshop
Make your own Pinhole Camera from recycled materials
and explore a variety of techniques. Bring along any light proof container,
box, tin or can, the ideal size is 2” 50mm on the shortest side
but up to 4” 100mm is fine.
Small containers are good sweet tins or film containers (black) can
be used.
(If you suffer from asthma, eczema or sensitive skin let us know before
hand.)

The workshop fees are £40 each, includeing
light lunch and refreshments through the day.

Bradford tea party
The work on this Project, led by Rachel Lee, with groups
of elders from various communities has been filmed by students from Laisterdyke
Business and Enterprise College. The film is going to be shown on "The
Big Screen" in Bradford's in Centenary Sq. Watch the Blog
for screening dates.

ABOUT
US
We
are a Community Arts and Crafts Centre where people can drop in to do
their own thing.
We run classes in Pottery, Painting and Drawing, Mixed Crafts (including
Felt Making and Junk Jewellery) and Creative Stained Glass.
We also run Family Learning classes in Pottery and Woodwork.
We run craft activity sessions in many community centres throughout the
Bradford District.
We develop public art projects
with a serious commitment to community participation.
